Siemens supplies automation solution for Baxter’s new Recombinant facility in Singapore

Siemens Pte. Ltd.  was awarded a lump-sum multi-million dollar contract to supply the automation for Singapore Recombinant plant of Baxter Bioscience Manufacturing. Siemens will provide basic and detail engineering services and will deliver, install and commission the automation system, process instruments and motor control centers. Siemens' concept of Totally Integrated Automation will allow a tight integration of all devices and components, based on Profibus and Industrial Ethernet communication.
