The I IA Asia-Pacific Sales Conference 2011 was held in Hanoi, Vietnam for the first time on May 18 and 19, 2011 attracting more than thirty I IA participants from 15 countries in the region and Headquarters in Germany.

Highlight of this event was the participation of Mr. Anton Huber, Global CEO of Industry Automation Division and Mr. Erdal Elver, President and CEO of Siemens Vietnam.

During the 1st day of the conference all participants were updated with the latest I IA development as well as targets and expectations from the I IA Headquarter for the Asia-Pacific region.

It was a great opportunity for all participating regional countries to exchange ideas, discuss opportunities, evaluate potential and define new measures to further improve regional business performance.

On day 2, the meeting focused on I IA ASEAN including individual business reviews by country and the "Operational Excellence Program" initiated by IA&DT ASEAN Cluster Management.

The exchange of ideas, plans, discussions and inspirations taken from this meeting should support all participants to conclude a successful fiscal year 10/11, and to achieve all the division's ambitious targets in the coming years.
