Viklele Associates Releases Black Diamond SCADA 1.0 Beta

Viklele Associates has announced the release of their Black Diamond SCADA v1.0 for beta trials. Black Diamond SCADA offers an integrated reporting, monitoring and control functionality for use across industry verticals.

Unlike conventional SCADA solutions, Black Diamond SCADA does not require any scripting / programming for process monitoring requirements. Right from defining data channels, process tags, computed /memory tags to defining trend screens, process diagrams with control action and a variety of data reports, every aspect is highly configurable.

Nidhi Purnapatre, project manager for Black Diamond SCADA said, “Early adaptors of this SCADA have found it refreshingly different and easy to use”. She added, “It is architected to be extensible, third party developers can create and plug-in custom data channel drivers, add animated symbols and other data processing modules using Black Diamond API.
