Test without breaking the process loop

Fluke Corporation introduces two milliamp (mA) clamp meters designed to help technicians in process and industrial plants test critical automation and control circuits without breaking the circuit or interrupting operations.

The Fluke 772 and 773, which join the existing 771, are designed for instrumentation technicians who install and commission instruments, and process technicians and commercial electricians who do mA loop troubleshooting on process control circuits and instruments.

To accurately measure the minute current (4 to 20 mA signals) that flow through control system circuits, sensitive current clamps placed on the wire detect and measure the flowing current. There is no need to shut down the system or break the circuit to insert a test instrument, which translates to cost and time savings
