Sentosa Golf Course Uses NANO Controller from Phoenix Contact
Sentosa island has an area of 5 squares kilometers. It lies half a kilometer (a quarter of mile) away from the southern coast of main island of Singapore, with various recreation parks such as Golf Course and Fun Parks managed by the Sentosa Development Corp.
In order to remote monitor the pumps supplying water for long distances in the golf course, the pumps are equipped with Phoenix Contact NANO Controller for remote monitoring purposes within the golf courses to trigger SMS to respective person in-charge in event of alarms generated from panels as well as pumps.
The Nanoline GSM module uses a new approach, as the GSM modem is installed directly on the product and not via a serial connection with an external wireless module. This means that SMS messages can now be sent just as easily as sending text messages to an operator panel.
