Rockwell announces new distributor for Philippines

Rockwell Automation has entered into a partnership with P T Cerna, a full-line industrial automation distributor in the Philippines. It says its customers in the country will be able to transition to P T Cerna for order placement, fulfillment, inquiries, technical support and customer service.

“The partnership will not only strengthen our strong foothold in the Asia Pacific Region, it will continue to enhance our position for long term sustainable growth in the Philippines,” said Chris Marshall, market access director, Rockwell Automation SEA.

Noe de la Cerna, president of P T Cerna, who was said to be delighted with the successful appointment as a Rockwell Automation Partner after almost two years of intensive discussions, noted, “The potential growth in the Philippines is tremendous and we believe we are focused and disciplined to bring speed in our transition to become a Rockwell Automation Limited Distribution Partner.”

According to Rockwell, P T Cerna's geographical coverage and capabilities, throughout Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, will improve its own limited distribution performance, which is a critical component of its business model. The partnership also supports its strategy of enhancing market access, expanding served markets, and extending its geographic reach in Southeast Asia.
