Mynah MiMiCv3 Simulated IO Driver Now Available for ABB Bailey Controllers
Mynah Technologies has announced the release of the Simulated IO Driver for the Previse INFI 90/Net 90 Controller Simulator. This release allows MiMiC v3 Simulation Software to be used for operator training and software acceptance testing for systems that use ABB Bailey INFI 90 or NET 90 Controllers.
The new Mynah Previse Bailey CIU SIO Driver (MM3-2109) is the Simulated IO Driver that supports integrated control of CIU Simulator Workstations and works with the advanced features and capabilities of MiMiC v3 over an Open Ethernet Simulation Network.
MiMiC is scalable from very small to very large projects offering a solution for any process industry user, while still providing accurate, dynamic simulations. MiMiC was designed for automation system testing and operator training.
By testing the plant's automation system with simulation for normal, abnormal, and upset conditions, the user can verify that the application software has been designed and implemented to meet the functional needs of the process, EPA and other federal regulations, as well as the testing requirements of validated industries.
MiMiC v3 supports a number of automation platforms including Emerson Process Management, Schneider Electric, other automation systems that support the OPC protocol, and now the ABB Bailey platform. Additionally, MiMiC v3 includes modeling and operator training functionality such as integrated thermodynamic properties, steam tables, automatic engineering unit conversions, and first principles unit operations modeling object.
