Mitsubishi Electric Holds Eighth Annual Technical Forum

Mitsubishi Electric held its eighth MELSEC Process Partners (MP2) Annual Technical Forum on February 26th at the company’s Nagoya Works, home of its factory automation products. The Forum included keynote addresses from Motokazu Inaba, Deputy General Manager of the FA System Business Division; and Kyosuke Kuratsune, PhD, from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology; plus several product application case studies from integrators and end users. The latter included an interesting case study about MELSEC applications for telecoms and power SCADA systems to be implemented at the Mumbai Monorail in India.

Approximately 100 professionals and executives from manufacturers, partners, and Mitsubishi Electric participated in this year’s forum. These included integrator partners from both India and Korea, which reflected the improving economic situation.
