Honeywell Automation India Wins CII National Award 2009

Honeywell Automation India Limited has been conferred the National Award for Excellence in Energy Management, 2009 by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). The award recognizes Honeywell’s Industrial Load Management Solution (ILMS) as the ‘Innovative Energy Saving Product of the Year.’ This award was announced at the 10th National Award for Excellence in Energy Management, 2009 held in Chennai on 19 and 20 November, 2009.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. L. S. The Industrial Energy Management Solution developed by Honeywell Automation India Limited is innovative due to its adaptability to handle complex operating conditions at a faster pace with improved operational efficiency. At the 10th National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2009, Honeywell showcased its Industrial Load Management Solution based on the GE platform, which has been implemented at TATA Steel Limited, Jamshedpur. Tata Steel selected Honeywell as a solution integrator to execute its Industrial Energy Management System for the renovation and modernization of its existing Load DC and improve grid stability. This solution makes judicious use of energy, improves cost-effectiveness, increases production and system stability and enhances awareness of energy generation and use.
