Ethernet Direct Announces EDS series IP-66 IP Cameras
Ethernet Direct announces EDS series industrial rated high performance IP-66 IP cameras with Power over Ethernet functions designed for Video over Ethernet applications. The EDS series are designed to provide Power over the Ethernet (IEEE802.3af) with Class 3 input or 12VDC power. All models are housed in rugged & protective IP-66 waterproof EMI hardened housing protection and compact size. The EDS IP cameras can be deployed to view objects on robotic systems, automated packaging lines, manufacturing lines, transportations and in other applications where movement and security is a concern, claims Ethernet Direct.
There are six models and each EDS series IP camera features high-speed operation and frame rates of up to 30 frames per second, video encoded in MPEG4/MJPEG format with full frame rate and built-in IR LED. The indoor models consist of EDS-131, EDS-331 and EDS-341. The EDS-131 is a bullet type IP camera that incorporates 24 units of LED to cover object distance up to 15 meters and built-in fixed lens with focal length of 4.3mm and supports 420TV lines of resolution. While EDS-331 incorporates 12 units of LED to cover the object distance up to 10 meters and has built-in fixed lens with focal length 4.3 mm and also built-in IR LED. The EDS-341 is a dome type Megapixel IP camera.
The Outdoor models include EDS-143, EDS-732 and EDS-741. The EDS-143 is an IR Bullet Camera integrated with 3.8 ~ 9.5 mm varifocal lens, 540TV lines of resolution and built-in 1/3” Sony SuperHAD image sensor. While EDS-732 is an IP dome camera featuring Power over Ethernet, two way audio supports and a Built-in Heater/Fan. The EDS-741 is a Megapixel IP Rugged Dome security camera with high performance vandal proof device featuring 1/3 Micron progressive scan megapixel CMOS with True Day Night via mechanical IR Cut filter.
