Eric J. Draut Joins Intermec Board of Directors

Intermec, Inc. has announced that Eric J. Draut, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Unitrin, Inc., has been elected to the Intermec, Inc. board of directors. Previously, Mr. Draut has served in numerous finance, accounting and audit roles with Duchossois Industries, AM International and Coopers & Lybrand.

In addition to his responsibilities with Unitrin Inc., Mr. Draut serves as the chairman of the board of directors for Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, a not-for-profit organization. Intermec, Inc. expands its board from eight to nine members with Mr. Draut's election.

Mr. Draut has a long history of financial leadership with Unitrin, a financial services company focused on creating shareholder value by providing through its subsidiaries a diverse array of insurance and automobile finance products and services for individuals, families and small businesses. He has been with Unitrin, Inc. for over 19 years.
