Emerson Magnetic Flowmeters With Smart Meter Verification

Emerson Process Management has expanded its suite of Smart Meter Verification technology products to Rosemount magnetic flow meters. The Smart Meter Verification technology is embedded in the transmitter functionality to verify calibration and the complete health of the sensor, electronics, and analog loop. Measurement integrity feedback is delivered in under two minutes and can be set to run continuously in the background or on-demand at the touch of a button.

The Smart Meter Verification does not need the meter to be removed from the line or the process flow to be stopped. There is also no need to break process seals to check on the health of the device.
