Code readers with software-driven autofocus

With the aim of making it easier for users to read and track bar codes and data matrix codes in the electronic component, pharmaceutical, aerospace and automotive industries. Cognex has launched three new additions to its DataMan 200 series readers. The liquid lens of the DataMan 200 series readers offer hands-free, software-driven autofocus with no moving parts and increased depth of field flexibility.

The DataMan 200S and DataMan 200Q enable decoding of well-formed 1D and 2D codes on a uniform background at up to five decodes and 45 decodes per second respectively. And the Imax technology which comes with the DataMan 200X helps to read and verify codes with low contrast, background problems or poor focus.

All three Cognex DataMan 200 readers come with three-position adjustable lens, integrated lighting, LED aimer and a Train and Trigger button for more accurate readings.
