Belden Appoints VP IBG Marketing Asia Pacific and VP Sales and Marketing India

Belden Singapore Pte Ltd has announced two key appointments to drive growth in the main elements of marketing for the Infrastructure Business Group (IBG) - vertical marketing, product marketing and outbound marketing.

Chai-Koon (CK) Tan is the new Vice President of Marketing for Asia Pacific in the IGB reporting to Steve Biegacki, Acting VP Sales & marketing, IBG, Asia Pacific & Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing.

CK's most notable experience includes Director of Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing with Johnson Controls Power Solutions, and various sales and marketing positions throughout Asia with Hilti.

CK has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Masters of Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Based in India and also reporting to Steve Biegacki is Puneet Mehrotra, VP Sales & Marketing overseeing both the industrial and enterprise businesses in India. With the 20 years experience garnered within the industrial automation and energy markets, Puneet hails from a strong background in channel, business development and sales management, will be leading Belden's growth in India.

Prior to his present appointment with Belden India, Puneet spent over three years with Areva T & D as the VP/Commercial Director for Substation Automation Sales. Before that, Puneet spent 15 years with Rockwell Automation, growing with them through several positions, the last held being the Regional Marketing Manager, Sensing, Safety & Connection business.

CK and Puneet are on the leadership team along with Xiangdong Tao, Vice President Sales and Marketing, China and Keith Mauck, Vice President Sales and Marketing, APxC.
