ASVIC Released ZWmech Add-on for ZWCAD 2010
ASVIC, a software company specializing in the development of CAD-based software products for a wide range of engineering fields, has announced the release of ZWmech - an integrated engineering add-on for ZWCAD.
ZWmech is a fully customizable add-on that gives both new comers and veterans of CAD designs a way to modeling. It is stated it can “cut drafting time in half,†with a powerful array of engineering modules, including mechanical, piping, ducting, and structural. The Mechanical module contains utilities for the drawing of a vast range of fasteners, bearings, shafts, sprockets and several configurations of material handling rolls and conveyors. The Piping module is equipped to draw in orthogonal, isometric and P&ID. The Ducting module is capable of drawing round, rectangular, and flat-oval ducting with surprising ease. The Structural module draws structural shapes from several common standards for building most structural components like beams & columns. Other features available in the package include: Auto-Bill of Materials (BOM), full management of layers, and design parameters.
"ZWCAD is fast becoming a world leader in CAD and offers unbelievable value and cost savings for their customers, while at the same time, showing their dedication to produce an effective and powerful CAD product. For those reasons ASVIC decided to work closely with ZWSOFT to develop ZWmechâ€, said Victor Abela, CEO of ASVIC. “ASVIC is totally committed to continuing to improve ZWmech to satisfy the needs and expectations of its clients, and we take pride in providing effective support in a minimum amount of timeâ€, he added.
"The new add-on by ASVIC is a great addition to our software. It harnesses users’ developing capabilities, while speeding up the process at the same time. I am confident it will satisfy the needs of our customers and prove to be a reliable additionâ€, Truman Du, CEO of ZWSOFT said of the new add-on.
