AIRAM's Patented Pulsair Pneumatic Press for Progressive Die Work
AIRAM Press Co. Ltd. has introduced PulsAir, a pneumatic press to support progressive stamping operations for industries like automotive, appliance and hardware. According to AIRAM, the patented technology delivers higher speeds while the new base design promotes shock and vibration dampening.
AIRAM also claims that long length precision guiding provides manufacturers with the capability to run progressive dies while minimizing the effects caused by off-center loading. Stroke length is adjustable in increments as small as .004. Since the press RAM can dwell on the top or bottom of the stroke, manufacturers can match or exceed press speeds for a production line or stamping job. New available features are "inching" or "jog" control for the RAM and Remote Ram speed adjustment. PulsAir is available in gap and straightside models from 7 to 200 tons. AIRAM can custom design press applications with minimal engineering costs.
