Advantech launches Embedded Core Services

The industrial PC market developing in many different directions and in many diverse fields, together with customers asking for more software and integrated solutions instead of the simple hardware demands of the past, has spurred Advantech to launch Embedded Core Services in order to provide integrated solutions, from boards to modules to software.

As part of the offering, Embedded Design-in Services provides solutions to fulfill embedded application design demands, with the aim of helping embedded developers design their applications faster with lower risk. The services include carrier-board design support, SoC-based platform development, and ruggedized and wide-temperature designed-in features.

Through cross collaboration, says Advantech, design-in services can fulfill electronic engineering demands at the design-in phase and so shorten the design and integration cycle, thereby minimizing uncertainty.

In terms of Embedded Computing Solutions, Advantech provides platforms ranging from computer on modules and industrial motherboards, to single board computers in various form factors. Customers can also integrate wireless and storage modules with unique embedded software services into their embedded applications.
