Belden Appoints Country Director for Indonesia

-- Business & Technology News, 23 June 2010

Holden Chen, previously director of marketing & business development, Belden APAC, has just been appointed to take up the position of country director of Belden Indonesia.
In a statement, Belden said: “In this new role Holden will drive growth of Belden sales in Indonesia and strengthen our pre-sales demand-creation capability. His new assignment in Indonesia is supportive of our two strategic priorities: talent development and emerging markets.”
Indonesia represents its largest growth potential in Asia Pacific after China and India, says Belden, and many of the network infrastructure company’s core end-markets in the country are already experiencing expansion.
Chen, who holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Tsinghua University, Beijing, and an MBA from Darden Business School in the US, also had previous career spells with Johnson & Johnson in Singapore, and the Freudenberg Group in China, Germany, and the US.
