Advantech Launches Industrial-grade CompactFlash with Smart Flash Management

Advantech Co. Ltd., a manufacturer of embedded computing, has announced the release of its own brand CompactFlash card called SQFlash which comes with secure, smart flash management. Advantech cooperated with Phison, a manufacturer of USB drives and memory card controllers for the SQF-P10 series. Advantech claims this new CompactFlash card with CF Type-I interface and UDMA5 transfer mode provides superb performance as a boot device. Advantech has also designed-in their own SUSI-SQFlash software package, which includes Software Protection and Life-Monitoring features.
