Wurldtech Security Technologies and Codenomicon have announced that the two companies have entered into a broad cooperation focused on introducing next-generation cyber-security solutions to their respective markets. The agreement includes a commitment to integrate testing technologies and jointly support the development of future intelligent cyber-risk management solutions for industrial networks; jointly develop best practices for testing and securing emerging wireless technologies; and co-operatively build standards-based cyber-security certification programs for the industrial automation, global carrier and enterprise network operator markets.
"The cyber-security landscape has changed dramatically over the past 18 months throughout the industrial automation industry. As a result, our customers are demanding a more comprehensive solution which aligns tightly with current and emerging industry standards, and combines industrial network intelligence with traditional IT cyber-risk management best practices," said Tyler Williams, President & CEO of Wurldtech. "This partnership will leverage each company's core technologies to deliver a scalable, on-demand solution to help industrial organizations effectively manage cyber-security risk from top-floor to shop-floor."
"We are very excited about this cooperation. By expanding the support for Codenomicon's award winning DEFENSICS product line with Wurldtech's solution and expertise, all industrial automation customers will now immediately benefit from more than 10 years of cyber-security testing and threat research. This will lead to significant improvements in the security and reliability of global critical infrastructure," added Ari Takanen, Founder & CTO of Codenomicon.
