B&R Automation Studio integrated software development environment displays automation topology intuitively in both logical and physical forms. Importing EDS and GSD descriptions allows not only B&R components but also components from other manufacturers to be configured and used. It provides integration with standards such as Powerlink, CANopen, Profibus-DP, and DeviceNet. In addition to IEC 61131-3, it offers the high-level C programming language integrated with all IEC languages and function blocks.
