EMA Design Automation, an Electronic Design Automation Value Added Resellers, has announced a single user version of the EMA Component Information Portal (CIP) that gives engineers access to the Digi-Key part database through Cadence OrCAD Capture CIS.
“With our initial introduction of CIP, we received considerable interest from larger companies looking to improve their part selection processes,” said Manny Marcano, president and CEO of EMA Design Automation. “However, we also found significant interest from individual users and smaller organizations with similar, but more basic needs.”
To satisfy this broader market, the EMA Component Information Portal is now available in two versions: CIP and CIP Enterprise. Both systems include Digi-Key Interface, Starter CIS Database, access to the Component Information System (CIS), and weekly CIP webinars, hosted by EMA every Tuesday.
