Ashcroft Inc. has introduced the PTE-1 Heise handheld calibrator, for line-test measurements. It has a Quick Select modular sensor system, and can be configured to measure in ranges from 0-25 in. H20 to 0-10,000 psi. Quick Select interface modules add temperature measurement with RTDs or thermocouples, while on-board jacks provide measurement of voltage and current. Two sensor bays and a twin LCD provide simultaneous display of any two measurements. Application-specific features support common calibration tasks such as setting pressure switches and relief valves and calibrating pressure transducers. With the data logging option, calibration results can be stored for subsequent upload to a PC. The calibrator is offered in standard, FM approved (intrinsically safe) and CE compliant EMI/RFI immune versions.
