OMEGA Pneumatic Rotary Actuators Feature Rack and Pinion Drive

The DIRECTCONNECT Series of pneumatic rotary actuators from OMEGA Engineering has a rugged design featuring a rack and pinion drive enclosed in a case hardened turntable for extended wear and life. The piston consists of DelrinŽ a lightweight, low-friction, and wear-resistant thermoplastic. The pinion is also supported with upper and lower sealed ball bearings for extremely long life: rated at 5 million cycles (10 million with maintenance). The DRF series has a one piece lightweight aircraft quality aluminum body, the body and end plates are black anodized while the steel parts are black oxide. This series is perfect for packaging, electrical assembly, and automotive industries for automated assembly and factory automation applications.
