One of Saudi Arabia's IT providers 3i Solution Co Ltd recently announced a partnership with Singapore-based Quantum Automation to deliver Integrated Building Management Systems, or iBMS to building owners in the Kingdom. However, 3i Solution general manager Abdulrahman Qanzal believes that the partnership will be able to tap into the huge potential for building projects in the Kingdom. 'We have spent a long time researching the size of the opportunities, and we believe that the Saudi market is worth over $1.5bn over the coming five years. With the massive investment being put into the new economic cities and the push from the government to adopt technology and smart building systems, we are convinced that now is the right time to launch Integrated Building Management Systems in Saudi Arabia,' said Abdulrahman. Engineers from 3i Solution and Quantum Automation will also work with developers and architects to provide advice in engineering and product design from the project inception stage up until completion, including testing and commissioning. 'Integrated Building Management Solutions is the latest, the most complete system for managing all the services in a building. The benefits that it can provide to building owners and users are immense, and we believe that a country such as Saudi Arabia should be and will be a wholesale adopter of this forward thinking technology,' said Quantum Automation managing director Jimmy Chua.
