N-TRON Corp’s 1000 Series family of industrial hardened entry-level Gigabit Ethernet products combine a 2 million hour MTBF, an operating temperature range of -40ºC to 85ºC, redundant power inputs, shock resistance, ESD protection and RFI.
The series includes 3 unmanaged Gigabit devices: the 1002MC 1000BaseT to 1000Base SX/LX Media Converter; the 1003GX2 Switch with 2 1000Base SX/LX ports and one 10/100/1000BaseT port; the 1005TX with 5 10/100/1000BaseT RJ45 copper ports. According to the company, the 1005TX is suitable for applications where multiple Ethernet cameras, wireless access points or other data intensive devices are utilized and an unmanaged switch is suitable.
The 1003GX2 can fit in areas where a copper Gigabit backbone is to be joined to Gigabit fiber backbone. The 1002MC converts Gigabit copper to fiber for longer distance runs and/or noise immunity.
