From GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms, Proficy Plant Applications Version 4.4 includes a number of new features that decrease a user’s time-to-value, making it easier for manufacturers to reach production, quality and cost objectives. The software’s reporting and analytical capabilities allow companies to track product and process genealogies and quality, order and performance metrics on the line or across the plant.
Model Confi guration tools extend the power of the software’s event detection and modeling sub-system. Those capabilities, coupled with improved deployment tools, make confi guration of production systems faster and more repeatable. Also supported is VMware virtualization, Citrix remote desktop architectures and Microsoft Server Clustering.
By connecting Profi cy Enterprise Connector, or the newly announced Profi cy Maintenance Gateway products into the events and information within Plant Applications, users can make both plant and enterprise systems stronger together than either could be working on its own.
