ADLINK Technology has announced the completion of its acquisition of Ampro Computers. The addition of Ampro enables ADLINK to offer Extreme RuggedT, rugged and industrial products and services for use in aircraft, trains, ships and other environments that subject equipment to extended temperature, shock and vibration.
The Ampro acquisition has received the required approvals from both the workforce representatives and the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs. ADLINK is now the owner of all shares outstanding in Ampro, making the new entity the third largest industrial PC manufacturer in Taiwan.
According to ADLINK, it's expertise in the industrial automation, communications and instrumentation industries and enables the combined entity to leverage economies of scale and global manufacturing capabilities to deliver cost-effective solutions regardless of operating environment. The acquisition will also allow ADLINK to offer extended temperature testing and conformal coating services.
ADLINK will immediately begin executing the planned integration of the two companies' teams, products, and operations to ensure a seamless transition that will deliver immediate value for customers, partners and investors.
