Moxa has announced that ABB Industrial IT has certified its entire line of EDS series industrial Ethernet switches, making Moxa one of industrial Ethernet switch manufacturers that have been granted certification under the Industrial IT enabling program. Products that have earned the Industrial IT certificate are guaranteed to be of high quality, and to be compatible with the family of the Industrial IT certified products.
The fact that the EDS-line of Ethernet switches has received IIT certification, together with features such as redundant Turbo Ring, Tagged VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping, and a wide operating temperature (-40 to 75°C ), make the switches suitable for use with a wide range of industrial automation applications, says Moxa.
