Temperature measurement for fast processes

-- 1 April 2008

With a scan speed up to 150 Hz, three times faster than its predecessor, the MP150 High Speed Infrared Linescanner from Raytek is able to gather complete data from the fastest manufacturing processes. To speed-up alignment, each unit has an internal line laser which indicates the exact line-of-sight of the linescanner. A clearly visible laser line is projected on the targeteven while the linescanner is collecting data at full speed.

On-board Ethernet TCP/IP communication capability allows the user to connect directly to the linescanner without the need for any controller or connection boxes. The linescanner can be assigned a unique IP address and accessed from any computer on the network. This has a considerable effect on the total installed cost, eliminating wiring runs, conduit, etc.

A suite of software solutions has been enhanced to take advantage of the increased data acquisition capabilities and extended communication properties of the MP150, allowing the user to quickly confi gure the system to analyze thermal data to monitor and control manufacturing processes.
