MachineTalker Wireless Vibration Sensor Controller for Condition Monitoring

MachineTalker, the Santa Barbara based developer of wireless process control systems demonstrated its products for wireless data acquisition at the Chongqing industrial automation conference. Using a compressor system with vibration and pressure sensors the Company showed its wireless products for Condition-Based Maintenance.
While demonstrating the means for wireless sensor operation, Gerry Nadler the Company's Chief Scientist was asked to give a tutorial on the use of CBM and its potential for significant savings by anticipating equipment failure.
MachineTalker claims its wireless CBM6 and its sensors are cost-effective because no wiring is required. Also, wireless sensor technology will permit installation at sites previously thought impossible to instrument.
