The PROFI-8455 from ICP DAS, provides the PROFIBUS DP communication protocol with any DP-Masters, and provides 3000V DC power isolation protection and 4KV ESD protection contacting for all terminals at front-panel. In addition, many kinds of i-8K and i-87K I/O modules are also provided with the PROFI-8455. The PROFI-8455 offers 4 slots as a slave, and up to 39 channels for diagnosis. The PROFI-8455 follows the PROFIBUS DP-V0 protocol, under this architecture, up to12Mbps, The PROFIBUS-8455 supports hot-swap for modules, and runs auto transmission rate detection.
