-- 1 March 2008

The 3-phase Motor Drive Application Kit from Infineon Technologies combines the company’s XC886 series of 8-bit MCUs, capable of supporting field oriented control (FOC), with its latest highly integrated intelligent power module CIPOS (control integrated power system).

Bringing power efficiency to cost-sensitive applications such as household appliances and industrial fans and pumps where energy consumption is required to decrease based on regulatory requirements and consumer demand.

The development kit offers a reference platform capable of driving both permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) and ac induction motors (ACIM) with power rating of up to 750 W.
