Camstar Announces Broader Manufacturing Intelligence Solution for SAP

Camstar Systems, a provider of Enterprise Manufacturing and Quality Systems and an SAP Software Partner, have announced the release of its eDHR Intelligence version 4.2 application for Medical Device manufacturers. According to Camstar, it is the industry's first application on SAP's xMII platform to provide an out-of-the-box method for Medical Device manufacturers to measure performance of the manufacturing operations with real-time KPIs delivered from Camstar Manufacturing.

The application offers full support of the manufacturing business process by automating the work order execution from SAP's ERP system to Camstar Manufacturing and progress reporting back in real time. eDHR Intelligence leverages Medical Device manufacturers' investment in the SAP platform by providing an out-of-the-box application built on the NetWeaver and xMII platform, which, according to Camstar, are the preferred SAP solutions for interoperability and intelligence for manufacturing.
