Hazardous area visualization over Ethernet

-- 1 January 2008

Ads by Google

Developed specifically for Ex-Zone explosive hazardous areas, VisuNet from Pepperl+Fuchs EXTEC is a modular remote monitor system based on a standard Ethernet TCP/IP network connection to the host PC in the safe area, where the visualization and automation software is running. Because the information can be transferred via Ethernet without any interface or KVM amplifi er, it is now possible to fully integrate the Ex-Zone Remote Monitor into a local area network structure or a visualization sub-network. The data transmission from the PC to the display, and back from the keyboard, mouse and other peripherals is fully digital and there is no need for adjustment or calibration of the picture.
The Pepperl+Fuchs Remote Monitor system is based on the core component LCD based Remote Monitor with network interface, plus many accessories to adapt to specifi c applications in the process industry (pharmaceutical, chemical, oil & gas). VisuNet incorporates a wide selection of keyboard and mouse types, as well as a variety of stainless steel enclosures and mounting options. www.pepperl-fuchs.com
