Pepperl+Fuchs posted a record year in order bookings and sales for 2007. In Asia Pacifi c, growth was based on increasing adoption of technologies like Foundation Fieldbus and Profi bus. We see this trend extending into 2008 with another strong year in Process Automation.

The FieldConnex range of fi eldbus solutions continues to fuel product growth, and the coming year will see many of our customers benefi t from our Advanced Diagnostics Modules, which provide the customer with an extensive range of tools for commissioning and maintaining fi eldbus plant infrastructure. The recently launched FF Remote I/O product will also allow customers to utilize fi eldbus technology in retrofi t or brown roots plant upgrades.

Hannover Fair, in April 2008, will see the launch of a completely new technology which will revolutionize intrinsic safety (IS) technology and open up new applications and solutions, which in the past were constrained by the amount of power available in IS applications.
