-- 1 January 2008

Last year, Honeywell introduced OneWireless, a mesh network solution that improves business performance by offering access to process data in previously unreachable areas of the plant. The acquisition of Enraf helped expand our segment coverage into terminal automation, blending operations, and onshore and marine storage. We also launched the VersaFlow range of fl owmeters
For 2008, Honeywell sees growth opportunities in sectors such as biofuels and petrochemicals. Already, legislation in the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia is stipulating that gasoline and diesel include certain percentages of biofuels, and this will drive more companies to install blending equipment. And as liquefi ed natural gas (LNG) becomes more important, companies will be keen to optimize transfer to minimize wastage with more accurate meter readings.
Honeywell will also continue to work with ExxonMobil on the multi-billion dollar Singapore Parallel Train (SPT) project, as well as with the Technip consortium to supply process controls to Vietnam’s first oil refinery in Dung Quat.
