Motion, Drive and Automation Fair heads for India

Power transmission and control fair MDA will be making its debut in Bangalore, India this December (4 to 7). The event is being held at the same time and venue as Industrial Automation INDIA and CeMAT INDIA.
MDA INDIA will take place in the immediate vicinity of key user markets. Leading players in the mechanical engineering industry, shipbuilding, chemicals, textiles and iron & steel are located in and around Bangalore.
In addition, the region is a major centre for the Indian IT, electronics, aerospace and biotech industries. Other highgrowth sectors include food, beverages, packaging and the energy industry.
Demand for products and services currently far outstrips domestic supply. At present India imports more than 70 percent of its power transmission and control technology requirements.
