Robot focus at Next Year's Hannover Fair

Robotics will be a highlight at HANNOVER MESSE from 21 to 25 April 2008, at Hall 25. Mobile robots and intelligent systems will be presented in three clusters geared to specific target groups:
- Industry: Industrial robots on mobile platforms, driverless transportation systems, service and information robots, safety robots, inspection robots
- Public sector: autonomous sweepers, firefighting robots, sewer robots, surveillance robots
- Home users: service robots, cleaning robots, lawn-mowing robots, entertainment robots
The Industrial Automation cluster at HANNOVER MESSE is the biggest in the world, featuring three top-notch shows: INTERKAMA+ (for process automation), Factory Automation and Industrial Building Automation. There will also be a new “Mobile Robots & Autonomous Systems” display category, where visitors can find associated components displayed right alongside actual robots.
