A M S S u i t e : Intelligent Device Manager 9.0 from Emerson Process Management now includes the Meter Verification SNAPON application for Micro Motion ELITE Coriolis meters, providing real-time, on-demand assessment that takes under fi ve minutes to perform.The SNAP-ON appli-cation can be launched from AMS Device Manager at any time, while the meter is full or empty, fl owing or not-fl owing, to check and capture device confi guration and zero calibration level, as well as sensor structure, electronics and signal processing for a complete verifi cation of meter performance.Communication with Micro Motion ELITE series fl owmeters is via the HART communication protocol over existing 4-20 mA signal cabling.
