Excellence award for Control Engineering Asia

At the Asian Publishing Management Awards held in Kuala Lumpur in August, Control Engineering Asia magazine garnered an Award of Excellence in the Magazine Franchise Category.
The Awards were given to publishers within Asia who implemented outstanding initiatives in 2006. The ceremony took place during the Gala Dinner and Awards Night of the Asia Pacific Publishing Convention to recognize best publishing practices in Asia in categories including editorial, circulation, design and layout, and use of multimedia by an advertiser.
Judges for the Magazine Franchise Category looked at a number of factors, including clarity of franchise terms, degree of support from the franchisor, extent of market research, and quality of launch plan. The other two winners in the category were Harvard Business Review (Taiwan) and ARENA Singapore.
