LONMARK concludes successful Asia tour

LONMARK International has concluded the Asian segment of the LONMARK Sessions 2007 tour, which saw participants at the series of one-day seminars discussing the benefits of LON based, open building control solutions.
The seminar tour traveled through Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, and Singapore visiting a total of 12 Asian cities. The seminars focused on topics such as: Energy savings, Improving efficiencies through system integration, Leveraging IT infrastructure, and Professional certification.
“Excellent turnout and dynamic presentations led to a successful Asian segment of the road show. The benefits of LON technology and becoming a LONMARK Member have been well received by the industry,” said the organization. Attendees ranged from end users, property owners, institutional organizations, integrators, product vendors, IT professionals. Popular discussions included ROI models, increased operating efficiency, and Green Building solutions.
LONMARK International’s mission is to enable the easy integration of multi-vendor systems based on LONWORKS networks, providing an open forum for member companies to work together on marketing and technical programs to promote the availability of open, interoperable control devices.
