The Kontron KPC-1500RT panel PC is a fanless, high performance and low-maintenance system with 15-inch resistive touch screen. This industrial grade platform is equipped with the Ultra Low Voltage Intel Celeron M processor and 852GM/ICH4 chipset. Designed to IP65 standards, the KPC-1500RT can operate in harsh industrial environments that require water and dust-proof solutions such as automation and other HMI markets. To meet the needs of data integration in HMI applications as well as future expandability, the KPC-1500RT’s I/O features include four COM ports, six high speed USB 2.0 ports, one parallel port, and one Combo drive. Two integrated 10/100 Base-T fast Ethernet ports are provided for advanced networking connectivity and a PCI interface for additional expansion. Compared to PC-based systems, KPC-1500RT lowers energy costs and allows installation in tight confines with fanless operation to suit various automation environments. The KPC-1700RT is a 17” touch screen version with all the features and performance of the KPC-1500RT.
