Advantech has extended its robust TPC
(touch panel computer) product line by
introducing the TPC-66S 5.7” QVGA STN LCD
and TPC-66T 5.6” QVGA TFT LCD fanless models.
Like previous TPCs, they offer an industrial-grade,
light form factor, ultra-slim design, but now also feature
RoHS compliance. The TPC-66S/66T are targeted
at system control interfaces such as those found in
machine automation, intelligent transport systems (ITS),
and food industries.

Technical features include adoption of the RISC kernel and the XScale

PXA270 416 MHz processor, which minimizes power consumption without
sacrificing performance, 64 MB flash memory, and a CompactFlash slot for
vibration resistant storage. TPC-66S has a complete I/O interface that features
three serial ports, one Ethernet port, and two USB ports (one for host, and one for
client). They also both use a notably high luminance LCD panel and are designed
for use in harsh NEMA4/IP65 type environments.
