Drive and control specialist Bosch

Rexroth AG increased sales by
7.1 percent to more than 4.9
billion Euro (US$6.5 billion) in 2006,
marking the fourth successive year of
revenue growth. Within the same period,
the company increased its workforce
by about 1,500 to more than 29,800.
And for 2007, Bosch Rexroth
says it fully expects a further increase
in sales.

“For the business year 2007 Bosch

Rexroth AG expects organic growth,
at least at previous year’s level”, said
Manfred Grundke, Chairman of the
Executive Board, referring to the
significantly higher number of orders
received at the beginning of 2007.

“We assume that this trend will

continue and we are preparing ourselves
for this promising future by expanding our capacities and implementing
numerous innovations.”

Looking regionally, the company

translated the high dynamics of the
markets in Middle and Eastern Europe into a growth of 16 percent, while the
rest of Europe grew by nine percent; in
Asia, sales rose by 14 percent with China
surging 33 percent; and in North and South
America sales declined slightly.

2007 is shaping up well for Rexroth
