Hyperion Expands India office

Hyperion Systems Engineering Ltd.,provider of custom software and services to process industries worldwide, moved to a larger office in India, in response to growing business volumes for the implementation of modeling, simulation, and operator training simulators (OTS).
Hyperion says it increased investment in its Indian resource center and moved to a larger office in Pune, in Maharashtra. The new office provides the infrastructure to support the growing OTS business, with spare capacity allowing for significant expansion, company says. The Pune office has one of the largest simulation teams in Hyperion and is experienced in power, refining, petrochemical, and oil and gas Simulations. The new office is managed by Yiannis Bessiris.
Dean Jones, Hyperion’s vice president for modeling & simulation solutions says, “The new office will enable us to support the large expansion that we have planned for our modeling, simulation and OTS business, from new projects throughout the world. India is a rich source of highly educated and skilled resource and is a good location for worldwide projects.”
