Cognex Corporation, Cognex Corporation, supplier of machine vision systems and industrial identification, has announced the signing of a partner agreement with Stäubli robotics, a major supplier on the robotics market with a complete range of robots of all sizes.
This agreement aims to promote automated solutions equipped with vision systems using Cognex products.
According to the companies, this partnership will allow their clients to benefit from the coming together of two market leading products, reputed for their performance, flexibility, ruggedness and their ease of use.
Patrice Denizard, Director of Sales for Cognex in France, said; “This agreement formalizes years of casual cooperation and is an important step in our robotic strategy. It complements several initiatives taken in InSight product development, notably Patmax, a geometric pattern matching software for location of form and form recognition, supported by the remote head version of the InSight 5000 series which is compatible with standard robotic cables and connections."
"This association with Stäubli, a global actor in this market, will ensure our ability to develop in this rapidly expanding market of vision guided robots (VGR),” Denizard added.
