GHSE/GHSER 750 Series LVDT position sensors operate from 24V DC, delivering an output of 0 - 10V DC over the full sensing range. One of the new features of these units is their ability to be powered directly from a PLC power supply. Constructed of stainless steel, the GHSE/GHSER 750 Series LVDT position sensors are hermetically sealed _” sensors. For added protection against harsh industrial environments, coil windings are sealed against hostile environments to IEC standard IP-68. Electrical termination of GHSE and GHSER configurations utilize MIL spec sealed connectors. The GHSER units have radially mounted connectors that shorten the installed length of DC LVDTs for use in locations with space restrictions. A detachable mating connector, supplied with every unit, permits repair or replacement of damaged or severed cables without the need to replacethe entire LVDT, as with units having integral cables.
