National Instruments Opens First LabView Academy in Vietnam

National Instruments (NI) has announced its partnership with Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Vocational College to open the first LabView Academy in Vietnam as part of a continuing commitment to help raise the standards of engineering education in Vietnam. NI and HCMC Vocational College have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on March 25..

A strategic partner of the Higher Engineering Education Alliance Program (HEEAP) in Vietnam, NI has been embarking on a series of initiatives that support the local academia in promoting innovative education. The NI LabView Academy lab will feature the latest experimental tools for research and teaching. Working with the faculty of HCMC Vocational College, NI will develop classroom curricula and hands-on exercises for students and researchers.

Commenting on the collaboration, HCMC Vocational College Rector Dr Nguyen Tran Nghia said: “We are pleased to partner with an innovation leader like National Instruments and to house the first NI LabView Academy in Vietnam. With this facility, our students will have the opportunity to ‘learn by doing’, using technologies that scientists and engineers use in industries worldwide.”
